ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER




Responsibilities:

Assists the store manager in all aspects of store operation including selling, employee management, customer relations, stock, visual merchandising, asset protection and training. Additionally, in the absence of the store manager, the assistant assumes all managerial duties. Participates in structured management training program, preparing the assistant for the responsibilities of store manager within a 6-9 month timeframe. Training time varies depending on previous experience. Subject to transfer to other store locations throughout training and as deemed necessary by the company. Weekly salary + commissions, varies by location and division.

Requirements
Job Requirements:

Excellent Customer Service Skills

Self- Starter

Leadership skills

Good organizational and communications skills

Understand importance of customer service

Ability to recognize problems and develop solutions

Required to stand during scheduled hours. Hours usually include weekends, evenings and holidays. (Full-time: minimum 42-48 hours per week, 7-12 hours per day, 5-6 days per week.)

Kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders, using stairs, reaching, pulling and lifting weights of usually 5-30 pounds. Working rapidly, especially during peak sales periods to ensure all Customers are being serviced properly and Store Operations are being completed in a timely manner.

Ability to read, speak, hear, write and conduct business related mathematics.
