We are currently hiring a Telecom Network Infrastructure Analyst in our Milwaukee, WI Support Center.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:
" Provide support for Foot Locker's networks world wide, including the equipment installation (including racking of equipment and pulling cables), maintenance, identification and deployment of new technology, as well as supporting the compliance of our networks to PCI, SOX and other corporate standards.
" Oversee the maintenance and installation of critical data center support infrastructure such as power distribution systems, generators, air conditioning systems, scheduling of routing maintenance, monitoring and reporting of system metrics.
" Create and maintain documentation for Foot Locker's data centers, office buildings, warehouses and networks.
" Responsibilities will include a focus on energy/green initiatives in the Foot Locker Data Centers, network and support infrastructure.
" Write accurate and concise project plans, conduct project meeting consisting of all levels of management and technical resources located in multiple countries.
" Provide 24 x 7x 365 Store Network/Data Center infrastructure support world wide.
" Provide backup support for existing Senior Network Infrastructure staff.
" Position will require ongoing status communications to all levels of management and dealing with internal and external contacts in multiple countries on an ongoing basis.
" Other duties as assigned by management.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
An Associate's Degree or better in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or other related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience
