We are currently hiring a Network Analyst in our Milwaukee, WI Support Center.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:
" Monitor Point of Sale infrastructure & file movement. Diagnose and resolve failures.
" Provide second-level communications' support for stores.
" Monitor store anti-virus definition updates. Resolve exceptions.
" Monitor network infrastructure. Diagnose and resolve failures with service providers, support vendors, or other support personnel as needed.
" Track and escalate all unresolved network-related problems.
" Maintain network databases to ensure accurate information is available.
" Other duties as assigned by management.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree in the network management field (Network Specialist or Network Telecommunications Technician) and a minimum of two years experience supporting a production network environment, or equivalent combination of experience and training desirable.
Knowledge and skill in systems technology, computer operations, network management, company standards, and change and problem management is desirable, IP networking, network terminology, network topology, network device roles, internetworking, routing protocols, network convergence, subnetting and configurations also desirable.
