We are currently hiring a part time Maintenance Technician in our Milwaukee, WI Support Center.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:
" Performs a variety tasks, repairs and inspections requiring both a technical and/or general knowledge of, but not limited to, the following areas: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, Fire/Life Safety structural and carpentry.
" Performs preventative maintenance on various building equipment.
" Ability to perform general less technical tasks including, but not limited to: painting, shipping and receiving, mail-room duties, picking-up grounds, etc.
" Assist in security matters if necessary.
" May perform the replacement of minor electrical devices, i.e. switches, receptacles, ballast, etc.
" Ability to set-up meeting rooms.
" Ability to move desks, chairs, cabinets, modular furniture, etc.
" Provide adequate support and leadership in the Facility Manager's absence.
" Assist in the removal of snow and the salting of walks as necessary.
" Must reside within 45 minutes from the facility to promptly respond to after hour facility emergencies.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A certificate from a college or a technical school in a maintenance related field, i.e. electrical, plumbing, HVAC, desired.
Requires prior experience of one to three years in facilities management or a maintenance related position.
Basic computer skills. Class D - Regular (Auto, Light Truck, Moped) Required
