We are looking for a Maintenance Technician for our Warehouse in our Camp Hill, PA Service Center.
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Ensure Camp Hill facility and machinery operates efficiently and continuously, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Responsible for preventive and routine maintenance on all Service Center equipment and structures, and for supporting the production operations. On Call for facility needs including, snow removal, and off hours responses. Primary responsibility will be the support of daily operation in the Logistic warehouse.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Assist in preparation and implementing preventive maintenance specifications and schedule for all mechanical systems.
. Follow all safety guide lines. Use required Personnel Protective Equipment, Follow all Federal, State, OSHA safety programs.
. Troubleshoot and repair basic Electromechanical problems.
. Install, program and repair automated machinery, equipment and conveyors.
. Lay out, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
. Ability to operate motorized vehicles, lift truck, genie boom and other machines.
. Perform weekly maintenance checks on the fork lift batteries, ejector and sump pumps, and emergency generators; update all electrical panels and label all receptacles as new construction occurs.
. Respond to daily maintenance calls including: changing light bulbs, electrical problems, temperature control, equipment installation, snow removal.
. Assist in all supervising performance of all subcontractors who provide service to specific mechanical and electrical systems for Camp Hill systems for Camp Hill.
. Service and install electrical feeds, receptacles, scanning and security equipment.
. Perform all plumbing service calls.
. Flexibility, high contact levels with gray situations. Provides new perspective and approaches based on new information.
. Ability to distinguish and focus on strategic issues, formulate intelligent options as approaches new information.
. Must be capable of working daily O. T. , weekends and rotating shifts according to production schedule.
. May be required to preform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
. Prepare weekly fire report for Camp Hill complex.
. Perform daily maintenance checks on HVAC systems, such as cooling towers, furnaces, condensation pumps.
. Monitor daily operation of fire and alarm equipment.
. Must work overtime and answer on call duties as required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Journeyman status or equivalency in trades. Minimum of 4 years experience in trades. Specialist with skill in the electrical control area of packaging and conveyor. Equipment control systems and PLC based control system a must.
